This Bayliss, Thomas Duplex Excelsior is the most luxurious model of the Bayliss, Thomas ordinaries represented on this website. As I descibe in the introduction on Bayliss, Thomas (click for link) this is the later model of The Victor DEHF, with detachable handlebars, fluted forks and patent spring. The model of handlebars makes me think this bicycle was built in 1887 or even later.
This bicycle is in the collection of the Velorama museum. I love it!
